From 1986 - 1994 in Hertford Road, Bootle in Mackers flat there was a bathroom upon which all visitors could write on the walls and leave messages for friends. After the landlord found out Macker was ordered to repaint the bathroom and sadly all the messages were lost forever.
It was decided then to recreate it using books, hence the name 'The Bathroom Book' which ran for 3 Books, numbers 2, 3 and 4 between 1994 and 1996. Please note these books are not for the easily offended and contain graphic images, a lot of swearing and extreme content.
